Journey Typeface

Tribute to Helmut Schmid

Inspired by Wim Crouwel quote and Helmut Schmid's design, the typeface is created to capture the essence of Swiss Design (clean lines, objectivity, and readability) as well as reflecting Schmid's noteworthy experience – reflecting his worldly adventures and experiences.

Overall, the intention is to establish a sense of rhythm through the play of thick and think strokes, while keeping elements clean and free from ornamentation. The newly designed typeface is applied on an arcade concept to evoke a sense of fun.
